How can I get to downtown Bogota by public bus?
If you don’t want to use a taxi or Uber, the best option to go from El Dorado airport to downtown Bogotá is the Transmilenio bus. How to move between terminals?
The Bogotá airport has a satellite bus service to move free between Terminal 1 and Terminal Puente Aéreo (T2). Hours of Operation: 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Frequency: Every 20 minutes

What to do in case of a long layover for connecting flight?
There are many shops and duty free (most operate from 4 or 6 am to 10 pm), restaurants, fast food and coffee shops (some available 24 hours). In turn, the airport has VIP lounges (some open 24 hours) and they are a great option for a connected flight, a canceled flight, an early morning check-in or for a breakfast, buffet lunch, snacks, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere for rest or work.
What to do in case of lost luggage or belongings?

Is there a luggage storage service?
El Dorado Airport has a luggage storage service in the public area of Terminal 1, first floor, available 24 hours. The rate for 12 hours ranges from 4 USD (15,000 Colombian pesos).
In turn, there are luggage carts in the collection area and it is a free self-service. You only pay a deposit (4,000 Colombian pesos) which is then returned when the cart is returned.
Does the airport have currency exchange and banking services?
El Dorado airport has 24-hour currency exchange services in Terminal 1 and ATMs of the main banks and networks (most of them in Terminal 1).
Where to go in case of a medical emergency?
In case you require medical attention, you can find 24-hour medical facilities on the second level of Terminal 1, both in the International Departures Hall (Airport Hospital) and in the Domestic Departures Hall (Red Cross).
